Rainbows in Roseto | Calabria

Hey! I am so impatient. This evening me and my boyfriend will go to our favourite restaurant to celebrate our 3 years live-togethiversary and I am counting the seconds til we go there. I guess this is the best moment to share these sweet photos of us!

My boyfriend and I created a lot of vacation traditions like having a beer at the airport pub in Berlin, taking a taxi on our way back home, having a walk at least once a day to move our lazy ***es and also going to Roseto Capo Spulico the night before going back to Berlin became a winter vacation tradition. Also this year we went to this very small town of maybe 1900 inhabitants that is located on the Ionian sea side of Italy's shoe tip. Roseto is our number one vacation place in Italy. We go there every year in summer and stay in a very neat vacation house with a huge balcony.

This year we spent only two nights there: the first and the last. When we left the city of Cosenza for our last night in Roseto Capo Spulico I was a bit sad. I saw that there were two rainbows at the same time coming up over Cosenza and I was so disappointed, that there was no time to take some photos. When we arrived in Roseto Capo Spulico I was overwhelmed: There were still the two rainbows!

Resting bitch face.

Unfortunately it started raining, which for me was not a big deal, but my boyfriend hates to be in the rain. Double unfortunately everything was closed, so we couldn't seek shelter anywhere. In winter Roseto Capo Spulico seems like a real ghost town. There is nobody. In summer the place can be pretty packed. Everybody comes to rent the many vacation houses and to stay at the beach 24/7. But in January it is another world... we tried to stay safe under a roof, looking at our disco pub, where we usually get some beverages in summer. Closed. But well, I enjoyed anyway. TWO RAINBOWS I'm tellin' ya!
